A multidisciplinary storyteller
happiest when she's making.
Tamsi is a copywriter and graphic designer living in Brooklyn. Originally from the Texas Hill Country, she moved to NYC with indie-rock band Grassfight (grassfight.bandcamp.com) for which she played bass guitar.
Her work has won several awards, including Best in Show with the 2018 Educational Advertising Awards, a 2018 Davey Award and an Excellence Award from the 2019 Communicator Awards. She is also a freelancer, having worked with clients such as NYU, the People's Improv Theater, Agile Lens, and No Kid Hungry.
Tamsi has studied improv and sketch at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, The People's Improv Theater, and the Annoyance Theater. She performs with X Plus One, the improvised 1940s sci-fi/comedy radio show.
Tamsi credits this as being one of the least favorite things she's ever written.
